When Pantone named its colours of the year for 2016, it was no surprise to us that Rose Quartz was the star of the show (alongside the equally gorgeous Serenity). At the latter part of 2015, sweet pastel shades had been making their interior design renaissance, complimenting the oh-so-cool greys that have dominated design trends in recent years. This statement yet subtle, deliciously creamy pink shade can be cleverly used in the home to create a look that is both contemporary and cosy; no longer seen as the colour for “baby girl” bedrooms. It looks particularly stunning with metallic and marble accent pieces, which still seem to be everywhere this year.
Our new collection of turkish towels in Blush Pink is the perfect nod to Pantone’s Rose Quartz. Paired with clean white ceramics, grey marble accents, or contemporary copper and gold toned accessories; this shade adds a new dimension in a subtle way. If you’re not quite committed to going all-out and painting walls in powder pink, we think our collection of blush-toned turkish towels is the perfect way to refresh a room and provide contrast to neutrals and ever-popular greys.
